Life Care Center of Carrollton hosted its Annual Fall Festival and Car Show on Oct. 10, 2016.
More than 20 cars, trucks and motorcycles were on display, along with a M777 Howitzer and a 5-ton MTV from the Missouri Army National Guard. Three residents judged the contest and awarded prizes to the top three winners:
There was a lot to do and see besides the vehicles. Residents and numerous visitors enjoyed chili cheese dogs, a cake walk, a pumpkin game, music spun by a disc jockey and watching children play in the bounce house. They also had fun visiting with the servicemen.
“I thought the car show and annual fall festival was very well run and a great event,” said resident Pat Schubert. “I really enjoyed being able to see all the older and newer trucks and cars – also, being able to talk to the men and women who brought them out for the event. I enjoyed seeing all the other residents enjoying themselves and having a great time socializing and watching the young kids running around enjoying the beautiful fall evening.”
“Thanks to all the staff members and volunteers who helped make our Annual Fall Festival and Car Show a success,” said Brent Young, marketing director.
