Mary LeFaivre, a World War II-era nurse who was part of the historical United States Army Cadet Nurse Corps, has been featured in a national magazine.
LeFaivre currently resides at Life Care Center of Carrollton, Missouri, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center run by Life Care Centers of America. The company manages more than 200 centers around the country and publishes a handful of residents’ life stories each year in its LEADER magazine. LeFaivre’s story was recently published in the 2017 edition.
The story features LeFaivre’s experience as a WWII-era nurse and how she became part of the Cadet Nurse Corps. It also talks about her love of quilting, animals and travel.
