Harold Stewart, center, with his family

Harold Stewart, a resident at Life Care Center of Carrollton, Missouri, recently celebrated his 100th birthday.

Around 100 family members and friends gathered at Life Care Center of Carrollton for an ice cream and cake social. During the party, Stewart was inducted into Life Care Centers of America’s Century Club for centenarians and was presented with a certificate and pin.

“This was a great birthday celebration for my dad,” said Stewart’s son, John Stewart. “The turnout was wonderful, and the certificate, letter and pin were very much appreciated.”

“Probably the highlight of the birthday was when Harold’s girlfriend joined him,” said Brent Young, marketing director. “Harold lit up with joy as people greeted him.”

In his younger days, Stewart was married to Mildred, and the couple had two children –John and a daughter, Linda. His family now includes two grandsons and two great-granddaughters.
